Terms of use
Ikhadi is run by Auxo Digital (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
These terms apply to everyone who uses Ikhadi at ikhadi.auxodigital.africa and ikhadi-app.auxodigital.africa. By using Ikhadi you agree to them.
1. About Ikhadi
Ikhadi (isiZulu for "card") is a digital business card service run by Auxo Digital (Pty) Ltd ("Auxo Digital", "we", "us"), a South African company. You make a card, share it with a link or QR code, and people save your contact to their phone. Ikhadi is free at launch. If we ever add paid features, we will tell you first and free cards will keep working.
2. Your account and your card
- You sign in with Auxo ID. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your card must be about you, with true information. Do not make a card for someone else or pretend to be another person or business.
- Your card link (handle) is first come, first served. We may take back a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or misleads people.
- A published card is public: anyone with the link or QR code can see it and save your details.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Ikhadi to:
- harass, threaten, mislead or defraud anyone;
- link to anything illegal, hateful, dangerous or sexually explicit;
- upload a photo or content you do not have the right to use;
- send spam or collect other people's details without a lawful reason;
- get around rate limits or security, or try to reach data that is not yours.
We may unpublish cards, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Report a card to info@auxo.digital.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to what you put on your card. You let Auxo Digital store it and show it to anyone who opens your card, only to run Ikhadi. Cards carry a small "Made with Ikhadi" line that links to this site.
5. Your information
The Ikhadi privacy add-on and the Auxo Digital Privacy Notice explain what we collect and why. You can delete your card and your account at any time in the app.
6. The service
We work hard to keep Ikhadi running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that affect your card.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Auxo Digital is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how other people use the details you publish on your card. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out. South African courts have jurisdiction.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version. Using Ikhadi after a change means you accept it.
